The aim of this project is to create a product based off the Citicorp building and set in the year 1977.
Citicorp building opened in 1977. The building’s most unique feature is its 45 degree angle on top of the building. People in 1977 were so inspired by Citicorp building’s unique shape that they designed products that reflected the 45 degrees angle.
My product is the Cookie Crisp cereal. Cookie Crisps was a huge hit during the year 1977 and I wanted to create a cereal box that is shaped after the Citicorp building. To my surprise, the new Citicorp shaped building design made pouring cereal easier. I wanted to emphasize the product by creating Citicorp shaped cereal.
